Information on cookies

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that is stored by the computer when a website is visited by a user. The text stores information that the site is able to read when it is consulted at a later time. Some of these cookies are necessary for the proper functioning of the site, others are useful to the visitor because they can safely store, for example, the user name or the language settings. The advantage of having cookies installed in your PC is that you no longer need to fill out the same information every time you want to access a site visited previously.

Why does this site use cookies?

Through cookies, this site makes sure that every visit to the site does not have to receive or enter the same information. Cookies are also used in order to optimize the performance of the website: they in fact make it easier both the final purchase process and the quick search for specific elements and products within the site. Cookies used for the purposes of aggregate analysis of visits to the website

In particular, Google Analytics, a system made available by Google Inc., uses cookies that are stored on the user’s computer in order to allow the website operator to analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about the use of the site by the user will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information for the purpose of tracking and reviewing the use of the website by the user, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to the activities of the website. Users who do not want the cookies in question can prevent their storage on their computer through the appropriate “Add-on browser for the deactivation of Google Analytics” made available by Google at https://tools.google.com/ dlpage / gaoptout. To activate the component, which inhibits the system for sending information about the user’s visit, simply install it following the instructions on the screen, close and re-open the browser. By visiting a website you can receive cookies both from the visited site (“owners”), and from sites managed by other organizations (“third parties”).
